Blackburn Rovers manager Tony Mowbray has admitted that almost everyone within the squad wants to be involved as the club head into the final stages of the League One campaign. Harry Chapman remains a long-term injury absentee for the Rovers but aside from this, the club are nearly up to full strength with the likes of Ben Gladwin and Ryan Nyambe closing in on their injury comebacks.

Speaking ahead of Thursday’s league outing versus Peterborough, Mowbray said: “Everybody wants to be involved and is anxious to play their part, win matches and help us over the line. I’ve been at clubs where at the end of the season everybody’s fit again because the summer is coming. Here, everybody has been determined to stay fit all season.We’ve done pretty well with injuries for most of the season – touch wood. Great credit to the medical and sports science departments for keeping them fit.
