Blackburn Rovers have returned to winning ways in the English Championship following the 2-0 home win over Watford on Tuesday. The Jon Dahl Tomasson-led team were able to recover from the 3-2 home loss to Bristol City with the straightforward victory over the Hornets with a goal in each half. Welsh forward Ryan Hedges gave Blackburn Rovers the lead with seven first half minutes remaining off the assist from young forward Tyrhys Dolan before the win was sealed by Scottish defender Dominic Hyam on 82 minutes off the assist from fellow defender Daniel Ayala.

Jon Dahl Tomasson and his Blackburn Rovers players had a record of four wins and four draws in eight league games in the Championship this season ahead of the visit of Watford this week and they were able to take the record to five wins and four draws with the straightforward victory over the Hornets.
